This ritual is a natural conclusion to the three previous postings I have made – Reflections on the Threefold Path, The Kabbalistic Divisions of the Soul, and HVH and Daath – Further Speculation. Read those first to gain the theory behind this praxis.
With this series of four posts I wanted to illustrate a journey of engaging more deeply with the Kabbalistic teachings of the Order, to then show an example of using intuition – stepping outside the comfort of dogma – to uncover new personal insights for oneself, and to then turn these insights into practice to engage even further.
It might serve as both example and inspiration for your own work. And hopefully, it has not been lost on you that the journey IS the purpose in this work, and not the destination itself.

THE RITUAL
OF THE
SANCTIFICATION
OF
DAATH
(FOR EXPERIENCED INNER MEMBERS ONLY)
PREPARATION
Regalia:
White robe, coloured cummerbund and slippers depending on practitioners grade, Rose Cross, Ankh, and Lotus Wand.
Furniture:
Black triangular-topped Altar, chair in West facing East, two tall candles either side of chair. Smaller unlit candle for Altar. Taper and snuffer for candles. Stick of rose incense. White rose and deeply scented red rose.
Lamen:
To be made and meditated on by the practitioner. Circular, suspended from a black collar. Triangle within circle. Large Yod in center. Heh-Vau-Heh in angles as if radiating from a central point.
Above triangle: winged, crowned feminine angel with five-point crown and three stars. Below her wings: “Aima Elohim” in Hebrew.
Perimeter text around edge or on back: Per Duo Occultatur Unus Per Tres Revelatur.
Colours black, indigo, light citrine.
Altar Setup:
Altar placed with single angle uppermost – towards East.
Water Cup (North), Censer (South), and White Rose (West) – see Altar diagram. Lamen in the centre.
OPENING
1. Hold Lotus Wand by the black band, proclaim “Hekas. Hekas. Este Bebeloi.”
2. Perform Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram with usual formula.
3. Perform Rose Cross Ritual using rose incense stick.
4. Take up Cup. Purify as in 0=0 and recite:
“So therefore first the Priest who governeth the works of Fire, shall sprinkle with the Lustral Water of the loud resounding Sea.”
5. Take up Censer. Consecrate as in 0=0 and recite:
“And when after all the Phantoms have vanished, thou shalt see that Holy and Formless Fire, that Fire which darts and flashes through the hidden depths of the Universe – hear thou the Voice of Fire.“
6. Place White Rose on Lamen.
7. Kneel, facing East.
8. Recite adoration to Shekinah and humbly invoke her as Kallah, the Bride, incorporating verses from the Shir HaShirim.
9. Rise. Return White Rose to West of Altar. Take up Lamen and place it on self. Place unlit candle in its place.
INVOCATION
10. Recite additional verses from Shir HaShirim emphasizing receptivity and longing
11. Recall and give witness to the ascent of Kallah, recalling The Fall and The Garden of Eden diagrams in the outer and the three Angels of the Middle Pillar.
12. Recite an adoration to Heh-Vau-Heh (HUA). Emphasis on fidelity and love, harmony and balance.
13. Invoke Aima and Shekinah as witness, using suitable adorations.
MOVEMENT AND VIBRATION
14. Go North with Lotus Wand and hold by Taurus.
15. Draw Heh. Vibrate “HEH” thrice.
16. Invoke Kallah and Malkah.
17. Go South, forming base of triangle.
18. Hold Lotus Wand by Aquarius.
19. Draw Vau. Vibrate “VAU” thrice.
20. Invoke Arik Anpin and Ruach.
21. Go East. Hold Lotus Wand by Scorpio.
22. Draw Heh. Vibrate “HEH” thrice.
23. Invoke Aima and Shekinah.
24. Go to center. Vibrate “Heh – Vau – Heh – HUA”
25. Give Sign of Rending of the Veil. Imagine indigo veil before you parting, revealing the blackness of Binah beyond.
26. Kneel and bend your head and raise your Ankh and aspiration to Kether.
27. Invoke Yechidah with all thy heart.
28. Stand. Perform LVX Signs in silence.
29. Draw down divine white light.
30. Visualize YOD descending upon altar.
31. Hold Wand by Leo.
32. Draw YOD over altar. Vibrate “YOD” thrice.
33. Replace the White Rose with a Red Rose, and light candle in the centre of the Altar.
34. Extend arms to form a cross and recite: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.”
35. Circumambulate three times holding Lotus Wand aloft by white band, reciting “YOD HEH VAU HEH” timed for each circuit.
36. Stand again in Cross, West of Altar, and silently vibrate “Yeheshua“
37. Sit in silent meditation.
38. Contemplate the incarnation of the YOD on the triangular altar. Seek further guidance at this point. Actively try and feel the presence of the Shekinah, now Malkah the Queen.
39. Upon completion, rise and and take up the Red Rose and inhale deeply her perfume. Lay the Rose down again on the Altar, then kneel.
40. Long pause as the Divine Spark withdraws into the Mystery.
CLOSING
41. Rise. Extinguish candle on Altar.
42. Perform Sign of the Closing of the Veil and imagine indigo veil closing.
43. Reverse Circumambulate thrice.
44. Extinguish candles either side of chair.
45. Give the Sign of Silence.
46. Perform Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram.
47. Disrobe and disperse in silence.
