Zelator Exercise – Crystallisation of Salt

I would encourage every Zelator to precipitate a salt crystal as a part of their Meditation and study curriculum.

Dissolve salt into water until it is saturated. Try different saturation levels and different temperature water.

Pour the saturated liquid into vessels of different shapes and sizes, and place them in different locations e.g in a dark cupboard, on a window ledge in the sun, or expose the saturation at night to the light of the moon etc.

Take notes throughout, and observe over the next few weeks your experimentation.

If the experiment succeeds, and it may take many attempts to get the right combination of factors, it will result in the crystallisation of a 3-4mm crystal(s) of a particular design that has further references in the Outer Order, and also later on in the 7=4.

The word Zelator is derived from the ancient Egyptian Zaruathor, signifying Searcher of Athor, Goddess of Nature; but others assign to it the meaning of a zealous student, whose first duty was to blow the Athanor or fire which heated the crucible of the Alchemist.”
